Software-defined Radio using DVB-T USB TV Tuner and GNU Radio
We’ve been busy over here lately with various projects we’ve been working on to broaden our experience areas and improve our service offerings. One such project is utilizing and optimizing off-the-shelf consumer hardware for commodity software defined radio (SDR) reception. The USB TV tuner dongle that we are using as a software-defined radio receiver is the Newsky TV28T, based upon the RTL2832U chipset and the E4000 tuner. In our experimentation, we have been repeating the work of the RTL-SDR subproject over at the Osmocomm SDR project.
